How we compared

We compared publicly available information only: Intercom's and Fin's pricing pages, the Intercom Help Center and fin.ai, all checked on 2026-10-14. Every fact about Intercom Fin links to its source below. Where the vendor's site did not state something, we say so instead of guessing. We are the vendor of Nexly Agents (Nexly Lab, Warsaw, Poland), so read this as a vendor comparison, not an independent review.

When to choose Intercom Fin

Intercom Fin is a mature product with a clear pricing model. If you already use Intercom, Fin runs inside the same inbox, and Intercom says Fin works with other helpdesks too, including Salesforce, HubSpot, Freshworks, Zoho, Front and Gorgias. You pay per outcome, not per seat, when you use Fin with another helpdesk.

When to choose Nexly Agents

Nexly Agents is an omnichannel AI agent: one agent and one knowledge base answer on your website, in e-mail, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Signal, Microsoft Teams and Slack. Conversations from messengers land in one message center with wait-time counters, queues and assignment to a person on your team.

The widget installs with one snippet on any website (WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify and others), supports SSO so the agent knows the logged-in user, and has 40 modules such as a daily plan, calculators, courses with quizzes and a knowledge search.

Migrating from Intercom Fin

A switch usually starts with knowledge, not with software. Export the help articles, FAQs and internal instructions Fin answers from today; these become the approved knowledge for Nexly Agents. From that material we build a set of control questions, so you can compare expected and actual answers side by side before going live, and your expert can override any verdict.

Then decide which channels move first. You can keep your current helpdesk and let Nexly Agents create tickets there when a person is needed (for example in Zoho Desk or Jira). Plan 2–3 weeks from handing over the materials to a working agent on your knowledge. The first step is a free demo on your own website: give us the address and an e-mail.
